Wildblood + Queenie’s Silver Service : Celebrating 25 years of DJing

Wildblood & Queenie’s Silver Service. Celebrating 25 years of DJing, loving and you clubbing wonders and fundraising for MindOut and Blueprint 22.

It’s been 25 years since a certain pair of eyes caught sight of a certain regal rear. Yes it’s been 25 years since we started our sound adventure together and there’s always been one thing that kept us grinning more than any other. Our love of DJing, a decent bass line, you clubbers and the disco. Be it at Wild Fruit, DSD, Sunday Sundae, Disco Deviant, Rebel, Sirens, Shameless Hussies, Pussycat Club, Queer Nation, Muzika, Housewife’s Choice, Candy Bar, Mad Cow, Traumfrau, Go Bang, Big Love, Bang @ Floorplay, Brighton Pride, Tech Noir, Monkey, Wet Pussy (oh er!) or on the airwaves of RadioReverb and 1BrightonFM, you’ve made our life behind the decks a charmed one.

And so twenty-five years on from our first disco moment together we intend to celebrate with you at Wildblood + Queenie’s Silver Service. Sound tunes played to sound people for a very sound cause.

Join us on Saturday 16th September for a night of dancing and prancing as we play a very special 25th anniversary set upstairs at Horse Meat Disco at Patterns. Expect house and disco of the decent kind, cheeky décor and dazzling delights as we celebrate 25 years of Brighton nightlife.

And with some of our all time favourite DJs including the UK’s finest disco operators the legendary Horse Meat Disco, the sparkling cape darlings that are Wild Fantasy and 1BrightonFM and Patterns’ purveyors of quality tunes Gardenn and Øvre in the building we just know it is going to be one of those nights. Fabulous and fierce, magnificent and majestic. Just like the past 25 years of partying with you wonderful ones has always been. Grab your advance Horse Meat Disco £8 tickets here

Of course we always like to party with purpose so Wildblood + Queenie’s Silver Service will be a fundraising occasion. Come ready to donate as we support MindOut, the mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender people and Blueprint 22, the voluntary organisation encouraging young people to get motivated and involved in tailor-made projects designed specifically by young people for young people. Each charity close to our hearts and each making a sound difference to the lives of people in and around Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

You can also donate by purchasing a raffle ticket to win Queen Josephine’s 25 Years Of Wonders, her majesty’s royal pen and ink tribute to the hundreds of promoters, DJs, clubbers, hosts and hostesses and local characters that have made the past 25 years so special. So even if you can’t come party with us you can make a difference and win with Queenie. Click here to donate and get your raffle ticket today.
