It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Warren Lovestick last week. A true Brighton wonder, Warren always had a smile and a wiggle in his soul whenever Queenie and I saw him and I do believe our city has lost a special son. Always up for the party and a tireless promoter who somehow managed to avoid the disco politics, Warren delivered many amazing Lovestick events as well as fundraising parties for local charities. He was one of the few who make Brighton the wonderful city that it is and he will be sorely missed.
Peter White, Adam Ryan and Wendy Maas have organised a fundraising event on Friday, January 12 at The Bulldog in St James Street, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, to help cover the costs of Warren’s funeral. Or you can donate directly via the event page on Facebook. Please give as much or a little as you can to ensure Brighton gives Warren a send off fit for the party wonder he was.
