Keeping it Fruity and decent: The Wild Fruit Red Party 2011

Here we go Fruity ones. The party we wait for all year. Yes the Red fest we love is back as Wild Fruit present The Red Party 2011 Circus of the Absurd on Sunday 4th December. Its a time to fundraise, local and international. Its a time when the entire Brighton queer scene join forces to produce a night like no other. Take Monday off, its gonna be one of those night.

The line up is stunning with with pre party kicking off at Brighton’s Hed Kandi with DJs Jodie Harsh, Dulcie Danger and Yusuf Sebati from 8pm. At 10pm the Red Party madness will explode into Oceana with a vast array of the finest DJs, live performers and entertainers including Thomas Gandey, Fat Tony, De Puta Madre, Lee Harris, Lil Alex, Munroe Bergdorf, Lady Bex, Queen Josephine, Krysten Cummings, Marnie Scarlet Diva, Twisted Cirque, The Electrobelles, Chrissy Darling, Twiggy, Daniel Lismore, Barbra Bush, Dolly Rocket, Mama Yvette, Fordy Freaktastic, Wesley Sebastian, Stephanie Starlet, Joan Bond, Billy Lewis and the fabulous Wild Fruit GoGo sluts!

With Rebel’s 6th Birthday Dirty Disco Trix at The Haunt from 3am promising some seriously filthy Red Party afterhours action courtesy of DJs Mikalis, Lee Harris, Bryony Masters and a lass called Wildblood this will be a night that is oh so decent. A decent party for decent causes. Add some red glitter and well Brighton clubland will be grinning way into Monday morning. See you at the front.

The Red Party is one of Brighton’s most spectacular fundraiser of the year and has helped Wild Fruit raise well over £126,000.00 to date for local worthy causes over the years including The Terrance Higgins Trust, The Sussex Beacon and the Brighton & Hove AIDS memorial. This year their fundraising efforts will be split between the Rainbow Fund and Pete Tatchell for his relentless effort to stop international hate crime.
