The Austerity Ball – didn’t we have a lovely time the night we spent in the library

Partying in the library. Who’d of thought it would be ‘such fun’. We dressed up, we sang, we danced and a little disco was played. Al Start, Cat Harding and Nicky Mitchell’s Hepkat Hussars rocked it as did a certain missus of mine. Stray Cat Strut and Hey Big Spender never sounded so good. And all without incurring a library fine. Magic. Big love to those who made it so, Eric, Nicky, Lisa and the Brighton LGBT History Project who delivered a night of wonder whilst fundraising for Mind Out and Brighton LGBT Switchboard. You so stamped my book.
